New Vent Motor?

This Customer's furnace broke down, the first heating company she called charged her $300 to replace the furnace vent motor, a week later her furnace had stopped working again, after trying without success to get the original company to come back out, she called us the Furnace Experts, when we checked the furnace it was in bad shape, as you can see from the picture, it also was clear that the vent motor had not been replaced ,which explained why the first company didn't come back out!

Unsafe Furnace Venting !

Furnace Experts received a call from this customer in a panic, they had this furnace installed a year ago by a heating company that was no longer in business and the furnace was not working.  After checking out the furnace we determined that it was installed incorrectly, the exhaust venting was installed completely wrong, one part of the venting had come undone , this heating company joined the two pieces together with foil tape alone, no screws!. We had to redo the venting and gas piping on this furnace to get it working safely.

Furnace Cleaning

This furnace broke down, due to a burned blower motor, when we removed the blower motor  this is what we found, from the picture you can see the amount of dust and dirt build up on it, it's no wonder it overheated and burned out and needed to replaced.  The shocking part is that the customer had always had his furnace cleaned ( by another company ) every year!. Did the other heating company really do a good and thorough job , we doubt it to.

No Clue What They Were Doing !

It's hard to know where to start to describe this job, the heating company that installed this furnace was completely incompetent. the return air ducting was installed using what looked like left over materials from some commercial air duct system, the customer as you can see from the picture was trying to figure out what size filter they needed so they had bought every size in the store. They soon realized that there was no place to insert the filter and that the other company was long gone with their money!. Furnace Experts were able to reinstall the furnace and add a proper return air duct.
